Practicing What I Preach as a Discipleship Pastor

Over the past several years, God has guided me toward the development of the 4:12 Network concept. The idea of connecting people who have a passion for equipping church leaders with the churches who need their help is embedded in my DNA as one who is called to full-time vocational ministry. In April of 2012 (4/12), we officially launched the 4:12 Network. God is opening doors of opportunity weekly that will enable this ministry to flourish in the coming years.

A part of my conviction is to make sure I am practicing what I preach when I am sharing with you ideas, pointing you to resources, and recommending leaders to you. That brings me to something God has allowed me to become a part of in addition to leading the 4:12 Network.

Beginning December 9, I will also be joining the staff of  Northside Baptist Church , Murfreesboro, Tennessee, as the Discipleship Pastor. My family and I have been members of NBC for almost 11 years. The staff at Northside are extremely talented, passionate, and pastoral in their approach to ministry. They are committed to "opening the Word to their world." The people of NBC are very loving, patient, committed, and passionate about growing in the Word and the works of Jesus Christ. There isn't enough space to describe to you the many ways in which God has used the people of NBC to bless our family.

They have been very gracious and supportive of me coming on board to help however I can in equipping the church for what God has in store for our future. They have also provided me with the flexibility to continue my focus on helping Connect Ministry Specialists to Ministry Needs of churches.

Please pray for me and for NBC as we join God is His future plans for Opening the Word to Our World. Continue to pray for the success of 4:12 Network.
