Cheryl Burchfield served as Minister of Preschool/Kindergarten at New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA for 20 years. During that time she had the privilege of leading a team of four paid coordinators and a volunteer team of around 500 each month, plus building relationships with a wonderful group of about 200 young parents and their children. She was responsible for all programs in the Preschool ministry including
Weekday Preschool and Kindergarten, childcare for all church events,
Wednesday evening preschool programs, Sunday School and Extended
Teaching Care.
Cheryl retired from that position in June of 2012 to care for her aging parents. However, she continues to share her skills by consulting with churches of all sizes to
help with sharing space, setting up preschool classrooms, implementing
multiple Sunday Schools, planning for additional campuses, writing and
implementing preschool policies and leading Preschool Sunday School
training conferences.
