David Anderson
is the Childhood/Education Strategist for Louisiana Baptist Convention. He joined the LBC staff in September,
2011. His job is to serve the churches of Louisiana in helping them to reach
children and their families. This is accomplished in various ways
including state wide Vacation Bible School training, the annual
Childhood Education Workshop, Bible Drill coordination and the Pre-Teen
Invasion annual evangelism event. Additionally, David coordinates
networking of Louisiana Children's Ministers and assists churches as an
ongoing consultant in any area related to children. He has served to partner
with churches in reaching new heights in their Children's Ministry
area. Some of this has been accomplished by beginning an organizational
model using current Children's Ministers as area information and help-aids to other churches. He has continued the Pre-Teen Invasion event and seen
more than 90 Louisiana churches participate in this one day pre-teen
opportunity.
Prior to joining the LBC staff, David
has served churches in several states including Virginia, Florida,
Texas, his home state of Oklahoma and previously served at Trinity
Baptist Church in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
