Blessings and Responsiblities

For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
(Luke 12:48, NKJV)

Jesus' profound statement in the middle of this parable about a master who has entrusted his estate to a servant or manager emphasizes the importance of acting responsibly with what God has entrusted to us. As Bible study leaders, we have been given an incredible blessing! It is the blessing of people, God's most special creation.

I hope that, as you consider the group God has entrusted unto you to teach, you will remember the responsibilities that come with the blessings. We are responsible for helping people learn together the Scripture in such a way and in an environment that transforms how they . . .
Love God
AND
Love Others.
Father, help us all who have been entrusted and blessed to teach those whom You love, to act responsibly with the opportunity, knowing much is and will be required of us by You.
