Explore the Bible: Everyone Accountable

Do you think people today believe that, one day, everyone will be held accountable for their actions? While accountability might only be given lip service in our current world, we must understand that we will be held accountable for spiritual compromise. No matter who we are, there will be a day of reckoning. That is the focus of this week's Explore the Bible study of Zephaniah, Everyone Accountable.

The following video options could be used as a part of your group study. Be sure to check out the additional discussion questions, debate option, and other elements provided in the teaching plan.

As you draw your study to a close, be sure to point out the grace given to those who choose to follow Christ. While God does hold everyone accountable for their sins, we can be encouraged because God, who is good and loves us, will rescue the faithful. Ultimately, we can avoid destruction if we choose to humbly depend on God’s grace and place our faith solely in Christ.
