Explore the Bible: Awestruck (Habakkuk 3)

It is challenging for believers to choose to trust God when they look around and see virtually no reason to do so. But when they do, they have won the victory! This is the TARGET for this week's study from Habakkuk 3:1-9. Habakkuk was awestruck by the power of God and His judgment. This didn't lead him to run but to worship God.

I plan on opening my session by discussing the greatness of God and then challenging the group to consider whether they would still respond to God's greatness as Habakkuk did when he realized judgement and difficulties were coming:

Lord, I have heard the report about You; Lord, I stand in awe of Your deeds.
(Habakkuk 3:2)
